Homes & Antiques reader event at The Swan

With only 21 shopping days left until Christmas and precisely no presents ready for wrapping, the Homes & Antiques reader event at The Swan Antiques Centre in Tetsworth last night couldn’t have come at a better time.  And what a jolly, festive event it was too. With the excellent Tetsworth Festival Choir elegantly belting out a selection of our favourite carols, the smell of mulled wine in the air and mince pie in hand I went off to scour the labyrinthine centre for ideas. If you’ve not been to the Swan, it’s enormous, well worth a visit and packed full of possibilities for all manner of difficult-to-buy-for relatives. After securing a couple of presents it was on to a spot of wreath-making and then dinner in the Swan’s cosy restaurant where crackers were pulled and bad jokes told. It must be Christmas..!

We have an a exciting programme of reader events coming up in 2011, so if you’d like to come along to the next one, please sign up here for the newsletter and we’ll keep you posted.
