Spring has sprung!

Christmas maybe fast approaching but in the world of magazines spring has already sprung! Working three months ahead as we do, we need to be one step ahead when it comes to trends, so I’ve spent this week visiting the press shows to keep my finger on the pulse.

Predictably for Spring/ Summer ’10 seasons we’re seeing a return to bright colours. At Habitat and BHS I saw a kaleidoscope of oranges, blues and yellows. For the less brave, M&S and Debenhams are offering a more pared down, folk look in blues and whites.

But the colour that kept popping up is, ta da! Yellow! Be it in a pale delicate shade or a vibrant bold, yellow most definitely is the colour of the season. Lift a tired sofa with a cushion in ‘buttercup’ or for a quick update why not paint a kitchen wall in this sunny shade?
