New series starts on Monday on BBC Two

Some of Britain's best-loved antiques experts have been touring the country in vintage cars on the hunt for bargains for a new series of BBC Two show Antiques Road Trip, which starts on Monday.

The experts, which include Anita Manning and Mark Stacey, pictured, as well as James Braxton and Charles Hanson, put their knowledge to the test competing in pairs to make the biggest profit buying and selling antiques.

Each week, a different duo visits an area of the country to rootle through antiques shops and markets to find items to sell at auction in the hope of making the most money by the end of the week.

The first episodes follow Anita and Mark who start their challenge in Scotland where Anita discovers a lock of Napoleon's hair in Sir Walter Scott's home.

Tune into Antiques Road Trip weekdays at 5.15pm on BBC Two.
