New series of the Antiques Roadshow starts on 19th September
For the last six months, the Roadshow team has racked up countless miles as they've travelled the length and breadth of the country, from Pitlochry to Dartmouth and from Cardiff to Brighton. At each of the 15 venues, visitors have queued in their thousands to see the experts, laden down with shopping bags, rucksacks, and suitcases all bursting with car-boot finds and family treasures. As you'd expect - there have been some huge surprises and some wonderful stories, from railway signs salvaged from a skip to an ancient gold ring found buried in a field.
And this weekend, complete with a new title sequence, the Roadshow is back on our screens and ready for you to enjoy. Tune in to BBC One at 7.30pm on Sunday for the first in the series, filmed at Beverley Minster, where Fiona Bruce welcomes Aled Jones to the show.
The Brighton College Roadshow (featured in our October issue) will now transmit on 17th and 24th October.
