The Vintage by Hemingway team brings retro festivities to the South Bank

Fancy a car boot sale but with less of the wellies and more of the glamour?

Over 100 vintage vehicles will be parked up on London’s South Bank this weekend for the second year of The Classic Car Boot Sale. We hear you can expect old-school VW campers selling shabby chic homewares, lots of vintage fashion and a slew of beautifully restored classic cars (with some brilliant names) including a 1959 Humber ‘Super Snipe’.

The Vintage by Hemingway team behind the festival has organised DJs, retro food vendors and street theatre to accompany the shopping.

The latest attendees announced are Rusty Nail Restorations, which sells unique upcycled pieces from a Fifties Ford pick-up, and Hostess Hotties, which does a great line in vintage wardrobe fillers.

Just don’t forget your Mary Janes for the best-dressed competition!

The Classic Car Boot Sale is on London’s South Bank on 15th-16th March, 10am-6pm, £4.
