Potterton Books in London is hosting a fabulous show from 5th-24th December
Explore London this December and head down to Potterton Books where Ed Kluz, who we featured in the December issue of Homes & Antiques, and Paul Catherall, one of London Transport’s most popular poster artists, will be showing their work. The exciting exhibition will reflect the connection between the shop’s wonderful art and design books and the artists’ creations, with Ed and Paul hand-selecting new, rare and vintage titles from the shop’s stock to display alongside their artwork.
Ed’s collages and paintings, pictured, are imbued with a sense of London's past and seek out the eccentric, lost, and overlooked parts of the city. He reimagines the traces of the past through a contemporary viewpoint creating a real sense of English Romanticism. Paul’s bold linocuts, on the other hand, convey a more modern feeling of London. Exploring the city in a more urban and abstract way, he focuses on contemporary architecture and controversial buildings such as The Shard.
This exhibition runs from the 5th-24th December.
