The Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair is just a month away! Between 10th and 13th October, Manchester’s Spinningfields district will become a hub of contemporary craftwork and design, with over 150 selected designer-makers from jewellery artists to printmakers selling their wares.

You might recognize some of the exhibitors from past H&A ‘Antiques of the Future’ and ‘VIP’ features including enamel artist Janine Partington, mixed media artist Anya Keeley who makes sweet animals from reclaimed papers and buttons, and most recently bespoke leather goods designer Sarah Williams (who was in our July issue).

Likewise keep an eye out for the bold resin bangles and pendants of jewellery designer Jane Dzisiewski who you will find featured in our November issue (out 3rd October).

H&A will also be at the fair, selling subscriptions and interesting pieces from our decorating shoots and elsewhere, including some lovely mid-century German pottery. If you’re visiting the GNCCF be sure to find us and say hello!

The Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair will take place in a temporary pavilion on Hardman Boulevard, Spinningfields, Manchester from 6pm on Thursday 10th October until 5pm on Sunday 13th October. Day tickets, £7.
