Get your heirlooms and fair finds valued at BBC One's Flog It! valuation days

Had a bit of a new year declutter and fancy finding out how much that antique vase is worth?

BBC One’s Flog It! comes to Birmingham and Nottinghamshire later this month, offering you a chance to have your antiques and collectables valued for free.

Presenter Paul Martin (above) and a team of experts - including jewellery and ceramics specialist Thomas Plant and, textiles and decorative arts experts Caroline Hawley and Christina Trevanion - will be on hand to inspect the pieces and decide which will go to auction on the show a few weeks later.

You can take up to three items to the valuation day with each receiving a free appraisal regardless of whether it will be put forward for auction or not.

You never know, you could be as lucky as the owner of the rare Aboriginal broad shield that sold for £30,000 after a Flog It! day in North Lincolnshire last year. And, if not, you may be on television or at least make a few pounds.

The Flog It! valuation days will take place at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, Chamberlain Square, Birmingham on Thursday 16th January from 9.30am to 4pm and at Southwell Minster, Church Road, Southwell, Nottinghamshire on Thursday 30th January from 10am to 4.30pm
