H&A arrives at Vintage at Goodwood

We’re here! H&A enjoyed an exciting day setting up our stand at Vintage at Goodwood prior to the start of festivities today.

We spent yesterday creating a 1950s living room complete with Lucienne Day fabrics adorning accessories from the new Heal’s collection, not yet in store, and pieces from the new range of Ercol furniture, including the ‘Studio’ couch and special nest of tables.

Festival organiser and designer Wayne Hemingway couldn't resist popping by to have a look during the afternoon (right).

Here are some shots of the sights so far…

Stylist Kiera Buckley-Jones adds the finishing touches to the set with Jude Singleton, our marvellous artist and set builder, whose work can be seen in the September issue in the feature on antique toy boats.

The Marvellous Tea Dance Company (above left) is opposite H&A’s stand. Kiera and Natasha will be popping in later for tea and cake!

Natasha takes a well-earned break on the Ercol couch (above right). All she needs to do now is don her vintage garb.

Chairs for the Fortnum & Mason tearoom wait to be set out.

A member of the festival team finishes making these colourful signposts, just in time.
This classic car is just one of many around the site.
If you’re lucky enough to be attending Vintage at Goodwood, come along and say hello to members of the team, who’ll be only too happy to ply you with sweet treats and vintage badges. We’ll also be offering visitors the chance to win a Heal’s lamp and a weekend away, and copies of the magazine will be on sale for a special show price. Find us on Penny Lane, Vintage Market Place South West.
Keep an eye on Twitter and Facebook for regular updates live from the event.
