This season we're seeing a return to bright colours with designs emerging in a kaleidoscope of oranges, blues and yellows.

But the colour that keeps popping up is yellow. Pale and delicate or vibrantly bold, yellow is the colour of the season. Here are a few inspirations and shopping ideas to help you bring this sunny shade into your home...

Add some glamour with floral prints and golden hues, using one-off pieces and dark furniture to create a warm and sumptuous space.

Create a country-chic idyll with distressed furniture set against mustard tones.

Paint a chest of drawers in buttercup yellow and complement with bold floral displays to bring the room to life.

1.     Wake up to a bright, rejuvenated breakfast table by setting yellow tableware against fun patterns, guaranteed to add some cheer to the morning routine.
