Dominic Crinson

With jungle-inspired motifs in leafy greens and bright patterns made from images of kitchen utensils, Dominic Crinson’s ceramic tiles and wallpapers are anything but mundane. Dominic previously worked as an artist, before setting up a studio in east London 11 years ago. His trademark bold designs are made by combining Victorian methods with modern digital printing techniques, and can be found everywhere from smart London hotels to the Hard Rock Café in Las Vegas. ‘My new tile design for this year, “Emperor”, is much simpler in terms of colour and pattern,’ explains Dominic. ‘I looked at op art contour lines and went for a cleaner look.’
