The sun shone in Battersea Park yesterday for the National Antiques Week awards evening at The Decorative Antiques and Textiles Fair. First up were our 2013 Awards, ably hosted by Antiques Roadshow expert Mark Hill and presented by Antiques Roadshow expert Judith Miller. Read the full story here. Then it was time for the National Antiques Week Young Guns Awards 2013, presented by interior designer extraordinaire Nicky Haslam. Four deserving under-40s received a prize. The winner was Timothy Medhurst (Reeman Dansie Auctioneers), with Chris Oxley (PA Oxley Antiques) and Keeley Harris (Discover Vintage and Vintage Emporium, York) as runners up. Alys Dobbie (Nanadobbie), was also awarded a prize.
