Conjuring & Circus: Books, Prints, Posters and Apparatus, Dreweatts, Bloomsbury House, London, 8th September

Prepare to be amazed by a dazzling array of lots at this auction. Paintings, porcelain, clocks and bronzes featuring magicians performing to audiences come up for sale, as well as props including a set of three metal cups once belonging to famous 19th-century conjuror Johan Nepomuk Hofzinser.

We're rather taken by the collection of tricks, which comprises cups and balls, a collapsible opera hat, wands, packs of cards, moulded false noses and two fake raccoons among other delights (£350-£500).
