The Collection of Thomas Kerr, Duke’s, Dorset, 3rd March
The quirky and eclectic lifetime collection of the incredibly well-travelled antiques dealer and renowned interior designer Thomas Kerr goes on sale this week, straight out of his fantastic home in Provence, France.
Picked up at fairs and shops around the globe, the antique mirrors, furniture and fine paintings going under the hammer include a wonderful 17th-century Italian wall mirror carved with cherubs (£3,000-£6,000) and a painted Italian baroque commode (£3,000-£6,000), pictured.

We’ve got our eye on a pair of gorgeous wrought iron hanging lanterns, estimated at £200-£400, and a beautifully intricate Chinese lidded cup and saucer, which is expected to fetch a mere £30-£60.
