Sir Terence Conran launches a collection of countryside-inspired paints

It’s not every day that one of Britain's best-loved designers launches a collection of paints. So we were excited to get a sneak preview of Terence Conran’s new range ‘Paint by Conran’ which, following the success of Ecos Paints, has gone strong on eco credentials and a naturally-inspired palette.

In collaboration with Master Paintmakers, which has been in the paint business for 120 years, Conran and Partners has come up with 96 colours curated into five collections.

Our favourite, ‘Kitchen Garden’, which features juicily named shades such as ‘Rhubarb Stalk’ and ‘Spring Leek’, is inspired by Sir Terence’s own home garden where he still grows produce for his London restaurants. (Though we’re not sure we would want to eat a ‘Rancid Apple’!)

Time for a spring clean and a lick of paint. Which shade to choose…
