Have a rare item to sell? You could appear in the next series of the hit show
Four Rooms returns to Channel 4 in the spring – and, if you have an extraordinary antique or collectable that you'd like to sell, you could appear on the show.
Each episode, four of the country's leading dealers (including Raj Bisram, pictured), in four separate rooms, wait to see the pieces members of the public have come to sell.
The sellers will all be hoping to walk away with a life-changing sum of money. But to do so, they will have to decide when to sell and when to move on, as each dealer's offer stands only while they are in the room. Think Antiques Roadshow meets Deal or No Deal.
The array of weird and wonderful items that have previously been featured on the show include a pair of Muhammad Ali's boxing gloves, JK Rowling's writing chair, a Bakelite telephone that belonged to Queen Mary and Francis Bacon's paintbrushes – which eventually fetched £17,500.
So if you have a rare or unusual artefact that you think is worth a lot – whether it's a painting, piece of furniture or unusual collection – the Four Rooms team wants to hear from you.
To apply, phone 01494 733575 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Include your name, phone number, a description of your item, how you obtained it, how much you think it's worth and a photo of it.
