Postby lcbondsy » Sat Mar 27, 2010 11:55 am

I live near to the beach. I have analyzed white stains on my pool fence (metal fence). How do I remove it?Also there are rust stains from the fence poles on my white paver, I tried 1 to 8 acid, it worked but is there a permanent solution to these two problems?
Thanks!

So your pool has a fence? good.. that's what I want to have on my own pool but still on process due to some problems encountered just recently..but it's on process, I really want to have a pool fence because it is mandatory here by the Queensland Government to have it to keep safe all the time. by the way, you can use stain remover which is available in a pool services stores.

You could try an acid based cleaned, like a citris acid orange cleaner... and maybe, because the stains are alkaline... it will remove it... some shower cleaners {shower power} are acid based also.. let the product sit there a bit then wipe it off....
