Something I find is usually lacking in Homes mags generally is the ordinary vintage kitchen and laundry items, their history and loads of pics! I would love a feature on - say - vintage linens/clothes horses/old washing items/old wooden ironing boards/irons. I have just found a couple of old clothes horses/maidens and have painted them up in a kind of 30s-50s shabby style. They are so much more attractive and functional than the modern metal or plastic offerings for drying or even displaying fabric.

Hello there

The H&A team have just read your suggestion and we think it's great. Keep buying the mag and we will see what we can do.

Love

Oh brilliant! thanks. I have to say that over the last few months I've worked my way through most of the 'Homes' type mags and found most of them heavy on adverts, and light on interest - most seem an excuse to photograph well-off people and their perfectly manicured and matched homes. Your magazine is head and shoulders above the rest, and takes me three days to read through properly, plus I refer back to articles many times over the next few weeks. Keep up the good work!
