In the June issue of Homes & Antiques we met Rachel Turnbull, a senior collections fine art conservator for English Heritage. Rachel has 1,400 paintings in her care, spread across all English Heritage sites. Her wealth of skills combine artistic flair and intricate craftsmanship with scientific techniques, and with her years of experience, Rachel’s passion for preserving precious archives for future generations is abundantly clear.
