Nominate your favourite antiques shop now!

National Antiques Week (14th-21st November) launched in style today as property guru and queen of craft Kirstie Allsopp opened the event at the Winter Fine Art & Antiques Fair, Olympia, London.

A longtime fan of antiques - her father is a former chairman of Christie's - Kirstie always favours old over new and encourages home-lovers to buy furniture at antiques fairs and shops.

She is championing H&A's quest to find the best antiques businesses in the country, from auctions houses to specialist shops, in Britain's Best Antiques Shops awards. She'll announce the winners in March.

We're asking the public to nominate their favourite antiques businesses - everyone who takes part is entered into a fabulous prize draw!

Nominate online now, or visit stand B19 at the Winter Fine Art & Antiques Fair, until 20th November. Closing date for nominations is 30th November.
