Lamp firm Delightfull introduces new models based on singer's trademark beehive
A range of lights inspired by Amy Winehouse, the singer who died in July at the age of 27, is the latest bright idea from Portuguese lamp company Delightfull.
The design of these 'Amy' lamps, which are available in floor and table versions, is based on the towering beehive that became Winehouse's trademark. It is, you feel, what she would have wanted.
'Inspired by what makes her unique, "Amy" is a tribute to the great British singer and songwriter,' reads a statement from Delightfull. 'It's an elegant piece, with personality, outlined by detail, surrounded by the black of her hair and her golden voice.'
Well, as dead pop star memorabilia goes, it beats Elvis singing bottle openers
