Here’s something for a sunny weekend: our guide to vintiquing in the English countryside.

In our August issue we went up hill and down dale to find the best rural shops for a spot of antiques rummaging – and a cup of tea or two besides.

We found tucked away gems all over the country from Norfolk to Carmarthenshire; some in 17th-century tithe barns in Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, others with sea views and strawberry picking.

Whether you want to thoroughly explore one area, or road trip from one to the next, just hop in the car, wind down the windows and make sure you have a copy of August H&A on the passenger seat!

Here are a couple of places not to miss. For the full feature and lovely photographs, go to page 44 of the current issue.
