Can you solve our April 'Room With a Clue' puzzle?

Natural aptitude

It’s likely you’ll have one or two of this writer and illustrator’s enchanting tales on your bookshelves – the first and perhaps best-known was published in 1902. This small 17th-century farmhouse was bought in 1905 and filled with family furniture and oak pieces from local sales. The kitchen was the heart of the home and provided inspiration for scenes in several books, as was the kitchen garden, which produced particularly tasty lettuces, French beans and radishes!

The prize

If you think you know this month’s mystery home, you could be in with a chance of winning this Pink Roses half-pint mug, worth £19.95, from queen of colourful ceramics, Emma Bridgewater. Based in the heart of the Potteries in Stoke-on-Trent, Emma’s factory has been making your everyday cup of tea just that little bit more special since 1985.
